Meet Jeff
Jeff Scurry was raised in Morrow, Georgia, the son of the man who built one of the first indoor archery ranges in Georgia, a boy with a bow in his hand and the woods out the back door.
For more than twenty seven years he has made his living as an entrepreneur in the audiovisual industry, while never straying far from the wild that shaped him. A devoted hunter, conservationist, and philanthropist, he has spent decades giving back to the land and mentoring the young people who will inherit it. He is a father of four and a grandfather of seven.
Why he wrote it
"The more I look back, the more I realize how much of it is missing from the world my own kids are growing up in. The things that shaped me were not things you could learn from a screen."
"I still go to the woods for the same reason I did when I was eight years old. To be still, to listen, and to come home thinking."
